Buda-Tech Discussion Group

Mr. Tsang Kwok-fung set up the Mailing List for discussants to use, and many of the electronic Buddhist texts and technologies are the result of the efforts of the netizens of this edition.
Draft an electronic version of the Tripitaka Import Plan
Buda-Tech netizens drafted an electronic version of the Tripitaka input plan and began to carry out the classic input in a planned way.

Electronic Buddhist Texts Editing Group (EBTWG): Established by Xu Yanhui and several friends, it mainly uses scanning and identification technology to systematically produce electronic scripture documents based on the Buddhist Tripitaka.
CCCII encoded Taisho collection electronic file
Mr. Hsiao Ching-kuo provided 25 CCCII-coded Taisho Tibetan electronic documents and authorized the National Taiwan University Buddhist Research Center for follow-up processing. (Mr. Hsiao will provide the complete input electronic documents of the other volumes in the Taisho Collection.) )
National Taiwan University Buddha Research Center 25T Group
Team 25T: Led by the National Taiwan University Buddhist Research Center, it is responsible for processing the 25 volumes of electronic documents provided by Mr. Hsiao Chun-kuo, and began to carry out large-scale electronic collection of scriptures. Officially established the “Chinese Electronic Buddhist Classics Association”
With the full support and sponsorship of the North American Yinshun Mentor Foundation and the Chinese Institute of Buddhist Studies, a preparatory meeting was held on February 15, 1998 at the Dharma Drum Mountain Anhe Branch, and the “Chinese Buddhist Electronic Texts Association” (CBETA) was officially established on the same day. Venerable Shi Huimin is the chairman of the committee, Venerable Shi Houguan is the vice chairman, Du Zhengmin of the Institute of Chinese Buddhist Studies is the director general, Dr. Wei Xi’an is the advisor, and Venerable Shi Hengqing is the executive supervisor.
Sustainable development issues
Venerable Shi Huimin, chairman of the committee, put forward the topic of sustainable development, and after discussion by Venerable Hengqing, Abbot Monk of Dharma Drum Mountain and other relevant people, he began to prepare for the establishment of a foundation.
Donor Preparatory Meeting
Thanks to the strong support of all parties, a preparatory meeting of donors was held on April 8, 2023, and Shi Guoyi, Shi Huimin, He Risheng, Qiu Dagang, Shi Yuanwu, Shi Xingyi, Shi Fazhi, Chen Guanghua, Hong Zhenzhou and others were elected as directors; The first session of the board of directors was held, and Shi Huimin was elected as the chairman, and Hong Zhenzhou, the director, was also the chief executive officer.
