釋太虛（1890 年 1 月 8 日－1947 年 3 月 17 日），俗姓呂，乳名淦森，學名沛林，出家後依臨濟法脈取法名「唯心」。隨後，祖師奘年法師於韋陀天像前為其占籤立字，得「此身已在太虛間」之語，於是賜表字「太虛」。

在動盪時局中，法師身披法衣四十餘載，致力佛教改革與復興，倡導「人生佛教」。後世尊為民國初年四大高僧之一。
