Explanation of the “Donor Request for Non-Disclosure”<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n

Dear Donor,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In accordance with Article 25 of the Foundations Act, the Foundation is required to publicly disclose each donor’s name and donation amount (as stated on the receipt) on our “Donation Disclosure” webpage, unless the donor objects in advance. If you wish to opt out of this disclosure, please contact us using one of the methods provided below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, CBETA\u2019s donation disclosure webpage only listed donor names without the corresponding amounts (historically referred to as the “Donor Honor Roll<\/a>” [in Chinese]). Under current regulations, we are now required to publish both names and donation amounts (referred to as “Disclosure Information<\/a>” [in Chinese]”). This Disclosure Information has been provided starting from the 2018 fiscal year, and moving forward, both datasets will be displayed simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accordingly, you may choose to disclose both pieces of information, display only one, or opt out of disclosure entirely. For donors who choose not to disclose their information, their names will uniformly be displayed as “Disciple of the Three Jewels”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any donations previously designated as private or anonymous will remain undisclosed. If you wish to opt out of public disclosure from this point forward, please complete the Donor Request for Non-Disclosure. Should you change your mind in the future, please feel free to notify us via email, and we will update your preferences accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
